Warming/ Cooling Centers - The Village Hall is a 24-hour warming/cooling center whenever citizens lose power or heat at home during severe weather. The Library is also a warming/cooling center, but during library hours only.

History and Genealogy Research
Individuals interested in local history and genealogy research will be happy to learn that the Library subscribes to Heritage Quest, an online genealogy research database. The Franzosenbusch Heritage Society continues to expand their collection of local history about Westchester and neighboring communities.

Computer Classes
Our classes are small in size and tailored for adults with little or no skill in using a computer. New classes are announced quarterly in the newsletter, posted in the Library, and noted on our Programs/Events page.
