Business Manager, Part-time

Seeking a part-time Business Manager for the Westchester Public Library. The individual will maintain automated fund-accounting system, with responsibility for payment of bills and accounts payable, records management and retention, monitoring service and purchasing contracts, bank accounts and other related financial and banking transactions.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience, with focus on finance or accounting. 3-5 years progressively more responsible work experience, preferably in a municipal agency or public library. Knowledge of general office management, accounting principles, funds accounting systems, Microsoft and PC software applications, QuickBooks for bookkeeping. Candidates should have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Maximum of 19 hours per week, including some evenings.
